不可否认,中华民族正进入前所未有的艺术繁荣时期,一场伟大的文艺复兴的钟声已经敲响。作为伟大民族的一员,我们恭逢其盛,我们热情欢呼。然而,我们又不得不面临伟大时代降临前的悸动,我们不得不承受转型期所必经的阵痛。我们不得不清醒地看到,我们的既有文化正面临一场挑战,我们的文化需要一场痛苦的蜕变,需要烈火之后的凤凰涅槃。为此,本刊特发表何言宏、张光芒等几位学者对我们时代文化状况的诊断报告。对于他们的评判,我们或有另外的看法,但是他们直面现实的勇气,他们的赤子之心,他们强烈的忧患意识,依然让我们感叹。我们坚信对这场挑战的预报和干预是知识分子的责任,我们期待着对这一问题的百家争鸣。 It is undeniable that the Chinese nation is entering an unprecedented period of artistic prosperity, and a great Renaissance bell has been ringing.
