The statistical analysis of the sky, forest and urban background noise of the four atmospheric windows in the mid-IR spectral region (2-14 μm) was analyzed. There are two spectral regions, the statistical distribution of the background radiation amplitude varies: a spectral region of 2-3 microns, the main scattering of sunlight, and the other is 8-14 microns, the background of the thermal radiation Mainly. A unified statistical model of the background noise in the entire mid-IR spectral region is inferred. Its validity has been confirmed by some experimental results.
