流散在美的华裔男性气质一直以来被歪曲和误解,华裔男性被赋予了软弱无能,双性同体的刻板形象。众多华裔女性作家在作品中内化了这种种族主义倾向,落入内部殖民窠臼。以赵健秀为代表的男性作家力图重构男子汉形象,却又出现矫枉过正的倾向。本文认为,从历史和华裔种族特征来看,新书生形象是可取的。男女作家应携手抵制种族偏见,重建华裔男性气质。 Chinese masculinity scattered in the United States has long been misrepresented and misunderstood. Chinese masculinity has been given a stereotype of weakness and incompetence. Many Chinese women writers internalize this racist tendency in their works and fall into the trap of internal colonialism. Male writers represented by Zhao Jianxiu try hard to reconstruct the image of masculinity, but they tend to be overkill. This article argues that the image of the new scholar is desirable from the perspective of history and Chinese ethnicity. Male and female writers should work together to resist racial prejudices and rebuild Chinese masculinity.
