郭凤英今年40岁,当过工人,卖过蔬菜。1998年4月的一天晚上,忙碌了一天的郭凤英夫妇收完菜摊正往家里走,遇到了她高中时的一位同学。那位老同学硬是把们拉进了路边的一家卤肉馆。这里的生意极为火爆,他们等了很长时间才等到座位。3人要了2斤猪蹄、1斤卤肉和4瓶啤酒,吃完一算账,才33元钱!郭凤英极为吃惊,这时她才意识到卤肉馆之所以生意红火,是因为花钱不多而又吃得实惠。
