笔者曾随一个幼教代表团去英国曼城考察,参观了那里的教育中心及几所幼儿园,对英国的学前教育有了初步的了解。一、新教育大纲的实施英国幼儿园的课程目标是为全体儿童提供能发挥他们最大潜能的环境,培养儿童的语言能力、独立性及社会技能,发展儿童聆听、观察、讨论、实验的能力,为儿童提供广泛的、平衡的、连贯的和相关的课程,以促进每个儿童的发展。英国的义务教育始于5岁儿童,因此许多5~7岁的儿童已是小学一二年级的学生了。对于3~5岁的幼儿,英国政府自2000年9月开始实施新的教育大纲。各教育机构要遵守大纲规定的要求,并接受政府的监督。新的教育大纲对教育原则、教育目标有明确的规定。它注重玩中学,动手学,同时要求教师与家长密切配合,因为家长比教师更了解孩子。另外,大纲强调人人受教育的机会要均等,比如有身体障碍、社会问题的孩子,只要条件允许,都必须接受教育。
I have traveled with a preschool education delegation to visit Manchester, England, where I visited educational centers and several kindergartens, and got an initial understanding of pre-primary education in the United Kingdom. I. Implementation of the New Education Syllabus The goal of the UK kindergarten curriculum is to provide all children with an environment that maximizes their potential, develop children’s language ability, independence and social skills, and develop their ability to listen, observe, discuss and experiment with children Children provide a wide range of balanced, coherent and related courses to promote the development of each child. Compulsory education in the UK starts with children aged 5, so many children between 5 and 7 years of age are already in first and second grades. For children aged 3 to 5 years, the British government started implementing the new syllabus in September 2000. Educational institutions should abide by the requirements of the outline and accept the supervision of the government. The new syllabus on education principles, education goals have a clear rule. It focuses on playing secondary school, hands-on learning, teachers and parents also require close cooperation, because parents know more about children than teachers. In addition, the outline emphasizes equal opportunities for education for all. For example, children with physical disabilities and social problems must receive education whenever conditions permit.
