Preptin是一种近年来新发现的多肽类激素,存在于胰岛β细胞中,由胰岛β细胞分泌,其第69位天冬氨酸至第102位亮氨酸之间序列与前胰岛素样生长因子Ⅱ一致。其生理意义在于通过激活丝裂原活化蛋白激酶途径促进成骨细胞的分化增殖,可能通过分泌环反馈调节葡萄糖介导的胰岛素分泌,并具有生理放大效应。其在抗骨质疏松以及在糖尿病发病中的作用还需进一步探讨。
