Change from the Meiji Restoration UED: Many Japanese architects have been educated in their hometowns and then long-term lectures (non-expeditions) abroad, especially in Europe, are closely linked with the international architectural development. How is this done? Japanese universities in the architectural education and international standards is how to do? Japan how to promote their own outstanding architects? Endo Hideki: From the Meiji period, Japan has been overseas Information entered Japan’s domestic tradition, in principle, Germany, Britain, followed by the United States. Now these phenomena should be the product of the Japanese people’s habit of introducing European culture into Japan’s extension since the Meiji period. I myself do not care about the issue of propaganda, everything should be attributed to the individual’s efforts.
