金属硼化物除具有高硬度、耐高温、耐腐蚀等特性以外,其韧性又是碳化硅、氨化硅的两倍多。TiB_2和ZrB_2是新的工程陶瓷材料,并已部分地得到实际应用,但要开拓正规市场还是今后的课题。 将钛粉和硼粉混合,并在大气下烧结制成TiB_2。为了制备致密的TiG_2材料,采用超高压(1~2万大气压)和热压(添加烧结促进剂Co,200大气压)烧结法。但受制品形状和尺寸的限制,批量生产困难,热压法的硬度和强度也不够。因此又研究新的烧结方法:在TiB_2粉末中混入少量的Cr、Ni及C等粉末,作为烧结促进剂可显著提高烧结性
In addition to metal boride with high hardness, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and other characteristics, its toughness is more than twice that of silicon carbide, silicon nitride. TiB 2 and ZrB 2 are new engineering ceramic materials and have been partially used in practical applications. However, it is still a topic to be explored in the formal market. The titanium powder and boron powder are mixed and sintered in the atmosphere to make TiB_2. In order to prepare dense TiG_2 materials, sintering was carried out by using ultra-high pressure (1-200 atmospheres) and hot-pressing (sintering with addition of sintering promoter Co, 200 atm). However, product shape and size constraints, mass production difficulties, hot pressing method of hardness and strength is not enough. Therefore, a new sintering method is also studied: mixing a small amount of Cr, Ni and C powders into the TiB 2 powder as a sintering accelerator can significantly improve the sinterability
