气象卫星是各种系列卫星中出现较早,发展较快,发射数量较多的卫星型号之一,现已形成全球性的气象卫星观测网。水文数据的收集和传输完全可以应用气象卫星中的数据收集系统来完成。很多国家把水文和气象合并一体,进行统一收集、传输和处理应用。应用卫星收集和传输水文数据,具有可靠、准确实时、经济、全天候、大面积和远距离等突出的优点,为此它越来越引起人们的高度重视。世界上很多国家都在发展这项工作。
Meteorological satellites are one of the satellite types that have appeared earlier, developed rapidly and have a larger number of launches in various series of satellites. A global meteorological satellite observatory network has now been formed. The collection and transmission of hydrological data can be done using data collection systems in meteorological satellites. Many countries combine hydrology and meteorology to collectively collect, transmit and process applications. The application of satellite to collect and transmit hydrological data has merits such as reliability, accurate real-time, economy, all-weather, large-area and long-distance and so on. So it attracts more and more people’s attention. Many countries in the world are developing this work.
