On July 2, 2013, Douglas Engelhardt, known as the “Father of the Mouse,” passed away. Until this day, people did not know who invented the mouse this indispensable little thing. But in fact, Engelbart’s contribution goes far beyond that. He is a pioneer in word processing systems and Internet development, and is a master in the field of human-computer interaction. His dream is to elevate human intelligence and solve world problems through computer collaboration. However, he did not receive due support for being too advanced in his ideas. However, this did not prevent him from quietly working hard to make efforts for a better tomorrow for mankind. He deserves to be remembered forever
