A thin book, almost always followed me: business trip, or go to the countryside, waiting for the bus, or waiting for the boat. I have read many times, but it is often read new. It is the English-Chinese Hemingway “Old Man and the Sea,” translated by Comrades Hai Guan, originally published in the “World Literature” before the “translation” on. About youngsters, I like Shanghai Mingwei. I can not tell what is the reason, perhaps because of his crystal-clear style. His articles are concise, well read, and not as kaleidoscopic as some foreign writers do. He just said his story calmly and concisely, as if it was a story of no ups and downs. However, it is strange to say. It seems like a rippling calm underwater, as if unpredictable hiding something, can deeply touch my heart. There is a deep sense of clarity, concise there is a strong intensity. I really got Gorky read Barzah
