胸腺激素是由胸腺组织中提取的一组多肽蛋白质活性物质,它与机体免疫功能有着密切关系。目前胸腺素已被应用于临床,对免疫缺陷病、病毒感染疾病、某些细胞内寄生菌引起的疾病等呈现一定临床效果,也可延长部分肿瘤患者的存活期。然而在应用中可见到一些副作用,为减少药物反应及其它副作用,试用新方法由羊胸腺组织制备分子量更小的具有生物活性的胸腺提取物—低分子胸腺肽,经临床试用对某些疾病有不同程度的疗效,于3200人次的注射中,未见到任何不良反应。方法1、分子量的测定:采取 SDS—聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳法。并将已知分子量的三碘甲状腺原氨酸[T_3]、胰岛素、细胞色素 C 为标准物进行试验。以分子量为横座标,以电泳迁移率为纵座标、制备标准曲线。在座标曲线上,用待检样品的迁移率查找分子量值。
