大师档案2005年的普利茨克建筑奖得主,出生于康涅狄格州的Waterbury,目前居住在加州洛杉矶。梅恩在南加大与哈佛大学接受建筑教育,毕业后曾任教于加州州立科技大学(California State Polytechnic University),由于年轻时相当坚持自己的建筑理念,最后因故被解职,遂在1972年协助南加州建筑学院(Southem California Institute of Architecture;简称SCI-ARC)创立,教授反主流的建筑思考,并在该校担任主要教职,后期也曾在洛杉矶加大任教。
Master Profiles The 2005 Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Mein received architectural education from Southern California and Harvard University. After graduating, she taught at California State Polytechnic University. Since she was young, she insisted on his own architectural concept and was finally discharged for some reason. Assisted in the creation and teaching of anti-mainstream architectural thinking of the Southem California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC), where he held the key faculty positions and later taught in Los Angeles.
