Optimizing reading teaching in senior high school English can continually cultivate students’ ability to read independently, and it is very helpful to guide students to conduct multiple inquiry. In the process of teaching high school English reading, teachers should be able to fully grasp the students’ different learning abilities, differentiate their teaching, and better fit the reality of student learning. This article mainly probes into the related teaching strategies in high school English reading teaching. In the aspect of optimizing the students ’learning content, enriching the students’ reading process and guiding the students to use the language, some strategies are put forward to generate students ’relevant abilities, so as to enhance the students’ emotional experience in the reading process better.
