Foreign language anxiety is negatively associated with language learning outcomes. There are various factors causing learners’ anxiety in English classes. Semi-structured qualitative interviews with 6 students were conducted to investigate the sources of college students’ anxiety. The results show that students suffer anxiety of different degree. Foreign language anxiety of participants mainly results from two main aspects: learners themselves and external factors.
