HIV感染和恶性肿瘤等所致的全身免疫受损增加了口腔疾病的发病率或加重了原有的口腔疾病。牙周病与HIV感染关系的研究已有20多年,一些牙周损害类型如坏死性牙龈牙周炎被认为与HIV感染疾病进展密切相关;随着抗病毒治疗的广泛开展,HIV感染与牙周病这两种慢性疾病同时存在或将伴随患者终身,维护感染者的牙周健康已成为口腔医学必须面对的现实。本文对近年来有关HIV相关牙周损害的研究进展进行了回顾,为防治牙周病提供新信息。
