一、背景数学史在数学教育中的应用正逐渐被数学教育工作者重视。在各类关于数学史与数学教育的文章中,大家提出的观点基本类似,都认为应该把数学史融入到数学教学中。其中最主要的建议是应该培养教师的数学史修养,并在所教的数学教材中插入数学史知识。虽然目前在中、小学教材中已经有部分数学史的小知识出现,“数学课标”中已经有了数学史知识选讲内容的要求,但在实际教学中为了应付考试,基本会舍弃这部分内容。这样,数学史融入到数学教育中的作用并没有得到发挥。
