In the Republic of Armenia, republics often encounter earthquakes, and for seismic fortification, additional steel, cement and labor are needed. The special laboratory of the Yerevan Institute of Technology has studied the development of cast-in-place residential buildings in Armenia since 1964. Research data shows that the cast-in-place nine-storey house can save 30% of steel, 15% of cement and 15-20% of labor by using prefabricated slabs, and the total project cost can be reduced by 5-7%. The wall of the house is cast on the site with a large formwork, and the floor slab is assembled on the site with a perforated prefabricated plate, which is a recognized and reasonable method of construction.
