Gorden Moore, one of the founders of Intel, put forward the famous Moore’s Law in 1965: the number of transistors per square inch chip will double every 18 to 24 months. Moore’s Law has stood the test of time and the number of transistors on the chip has risen from 2300 in 1971 to 42 million today, an increase of 18,000 times. At present, the manufacturing process of the microprocessor has evolved from the micron level to the nanometer level. Mr. Wei Fuda engaged in computer processor research and development work has been for many years, in an interview with our correspondents, 64-bit computing and the processor’s future development trends and other issues about his own views
