直销商自我管理具有非常重要的特殊意义,这是因为,其一,每位直销商的身份都是独立的商人,直销公司 并非直销商的老板;其二,事业推荐人及上级直销商只是本直销商的伙伴与支持者,并非本直销商的上司;其三, 直销商的直销行为全凭自愿与自觉,没有任何硬性的指令。 工业社会是人类极其缺乏自我管理的时代,工业社会只强调规章、制度、指令,完全忽视人的自律性,使制度 的纪律性越来越强,但人的自律性却越来越差。甚至一旦离开制度的约束,人便不知道应该做些什么,不知道应该 怎样管理自己。 如此一来,直销商的直销活动能否收到良好的成效,很大程度上取决于直销商有无良好的自我管理能力。
