研究目的:根据宁西铁路(南合段)现状情况、所处地形、地质条件等,对该线功能定位、运输需求、与相邻线路匹配等因素进行分析,并经多方案技术经济比选,提出宁西铁路(南合段)扩能改造速度目标值的推荐意见。研究结论:鉴于宁西沿线地形平坦,既有线区间最小曲线半径均在1600m及以上(条件较好),但也为了避免既有线大拆大改、节省投资,既有线应按提速至160km/h的速度目标值设计;新增二线,根据宁西线“以货为主、兼顾客运”的功能定位,及为了与既有线及邻线路能较好地匹配,其速度目标值也应采用160km/h。
