The Forbidden City is an “encyclopedia”: humanities, history, architecture, fine art... almost all subjects can be read here. However, due to limited conditions, some sections of the “Encyclopedia” may not be shared with the public. However, as people’s needs continue to increase, by 2016, more than two-thirds of the area of the Forbidden City will be open to the outside world. According to the planning of the Forbidden City, within five years, office buildings in the Red Wall of the Forbidden City will be relocated, various warehouses and material yards will be vacated, and the open area will also be expanded from 45.79% to 76%. Among the upcoming 30% of the open area, there are many wonderful castles that are rich in history and are worth looking forward to. This will be the largest area opened since the establishment of the National Palace Museum. The Cining Palace, the Cining Garden, the Shoukang Palace, and the Grand High Xuan Temple... These temples hidden behind the layers of palace walls will open their doors one after another. Each of these palaces has a deep history. In a courtyard, countless stories are recorded.
