As a result, it has become one of the world’s fully self-sufficient countries in all aspects of electronic warfare and is also a major exporter of such equipment. Utilizing the normal, if necessary using already validated and very advanced technologies, production of simple and complex equipment in France is currently under way to combat operational threats in any conventional communications, radar and infrared bands. A number of systems have been developed and built for the French Army, and until now their details have been kept strictly confidential. However, the purely economic restrictions imposed by the limited domestic market forced the industry to develop the export-oriented type of equipment that had been used by the French armed forces, while also developing a series of purely export-oriented systems.
