Matsus Hita Research Institute and a research team led by Professor Mki’s medical department at Ehi me University have jointly developed the latest ultrasound diagnostic apparatus. It uses 40 MHz ultrasound to make it 0.1 mm resolution. This kind of diagnostic instrument is the first report. The diagnostic instrument was officially presented at the 86th Japan Dermatologist Meeting in Yokohama in April. Since it is difficult to make an early and definite diagnosis of skin cancer by the naked eye only, the definite diagnosis of skin diseases is still performed by traumatic methods until now.
