唐卡来源是西藏佛教艺术研究中的一个重要问题,一直以来为中外藏学界广泛关注。本文以历史学、文献学、图像学、宗教学和人文地理学等多种视角,从四个方面——汉文文献关于印度布画的记载、藏文文献关于印度布画的记载、现存早期西藏唐卡与印度布画比较、从宗教修法等看西藏唐卡与印度布画的关系,对西藏唐卡的来源进行了充分的论证与分析,认为西藏唐卡来源于印度,来源于印度7世纪~8世纪业已流行的佛教布画,印度布画是西藏唐卡的直接源头和原始形式。
The source of the Thangka is an important issue in the study of Tibetan Buddhist art and has long been a topic of widespread concern for Tibetan and Tibetan scholars. From four perspectives: history, philology, imageology, religious studies and human geography, the paper studies the distribution of Indian cloths in Chinese literature, the records of Indian cloths in Tibetan literature, the existing early Tibet Thangka compared with Indian cloth paintings, from the perspective of religious revisionism and other aspects of the relationship between the Tibetan Thangka and Indian cloth paintings, the source of Tibetan Thangka fully demonstrated and analyzed that the Tibetan Thangka from India, from India in the 7th century Buddhism cloth painting popular in the 8th century, India cloth painting is the direct source and primitive form of Tibet Thangka.
