水稻系统选育,一般是指水稻单株选择育种,也就是在现有的品种群体中,把有利的变异个体选拔出来,通过反复的筛选和培育而获得新的品种。系统选育具有推陈出新的作用,可以使品种向人们希望的方向发展。例如,我国第一个矮秆多穗型品种“矮脚南特”号,目前上海郊区的后季稻当家品种“双丰系统”和“嘉农系统”,都是采用系统选育而成的。由此可见,系统选育是大有作为的。
Breeding of rice system generally refers to the selective breeding of single plant of rice, that is, in existing breed groups, the individual with favorable mutation is selected, and new breeds are obtained through repeated screening and cultivation. Systematic breeding has the function of innovation, can make the variety to people hope. For example, China’s first dwarf and multi-spike variety, “Dwarf Nantes”, is currently bred by systematic breeding of the double cropping system and the “peasant farming system” . Thus it can be seen that systematic breeding is a great undertaking.
