The ever-increasing demand for finer and higher filtration has led to the need to develop more elaborate filter materials. To achieve this goal, Bekaert Fiber Technologies continues to expand its fiber diameter range, the finest fiber diameter up to 2 microns or less. Use of this ultra-fine fibers, you can work out the absolute hole by less than micron-level filter. The dirt holding capacity of the filter material is also improved at the same time. This essay discusses some of the properties of this advanced filter media in the two areas of polyester melt filtration and gas filtration. It will also discuss some of the technical and economic advantages of using this filter media.
