1995年12月5日,中国银行国际金融研究所召开了一年一度的“世界经济、国际金融回顾与展望”研讨会,驻京世界经济、国际金融理论界的部分学者及新闻工作者近50人与会。1995年世界经济继续在复苏的轨道上运行,但发达国家的经济增长速度普遍放慢,西欧经济低速运转,日本经济仍未摆脱萧条,美国经济基本实现“软着陆”。据国际货币基金组织预测,发达国家1995年的经济增长率预计为2.5%,低于1994年的3.1%;发展中国家的经济增长率为6%,低于1994年的6.2%。其中,亚洲仍是世界经济增长中最具活力
