From 1960 to 1968, the track record of the West German men’s track and field program increased by 5.64%. From 1970 to 1978, the growth rate of West Germany track record dropped to 1.438%. This shows that the best track and field result has been hovering at a high level. It has become so difficult to refresh record and continue to break the best record today
