公路膨胀一直作为工程中难以解决的问题,因为公路膨胀土遇到水就会膨胀,水分蒸发就会收缩的这种特性使公路、铁路等建设和施工受到了极大的影响。近几年,我国公路膨胀土的整体结构和工程的特征进行了研究,并且获得了极高的成就,并对膨胀土产生的原因及对工程产生的影响进行了科学的研究,提出了相应的解决对策。很多公路在建设时会碰到膨胀土的地势。在307国道中有一段公路经过宁夏地区,周围分布着膨胀土,如果不经过处理很难在上面进行公路建设,但是如果将膨胀土与性质较好的土进行调换,不但会造成极大的浪费现象还会导致环境的污染,使沙漠地区的生态环境更加恶化。
