本研究对广西壮族自治区三所大学330名非英语专业本科学生以及6名大学英语教师进行了调查研究,旨在从教材的直接使用者——学生和老师的角度出发对大学英语读写教程中的任务设置进行评估。调查结果表明:在这些所谓的以“学生为中心”的现代大学英语教材中的任务设置仍沿袭传统的练习模式,受课文限制,重语法和词汇,而对学生的语言实际运用能力欠缺考虑。此外,在读写教程中的最常见任务类型虽然有其教学价值,但不能很好地促进语言实用性的发展,难以充分满足学生对实际使用语言的需求,难以激发学生兴趣,学生在处理练习的过程中脱离自己的经历和感受,单纯、孤立、分离地练习语言,在完成这些任务之后缺乏成就感或进步感。
In this study, 330 non-English major undergraduates and 6 college English teachers from three universities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were investigated. The aim of this study is to analyze the college English teachers from the perspective of direct users - The mission settings are evaluated. The survey results show that the tasks set in these so-called modern college English textbooks with “students as the center” still follow the traditional practice mode, which is limited by the texts, grammar and vocabulary, but lacks practical application of the language of the students consider.
