本文研究企业网络和吸收能力对其创新战略选择的影响。基于社会网络理论和企业能力理论,本文认为企业嵌入的外部网络为企业提供了创新机会,但不能实现这些机会;吸收能力能够实现创新机会,但难以创造创新机会。因此,企业创新战略选择需要将两者结合起来。在已有文献将吸收能力分为“外部知识利用能力”和“外部知识转移能力”的基础上,本文研究发现:①网络位置、外部知识利用能力分别影响其创新战略的选择;②网络位置与外部知识利用能力互动也影响创新战略选择;③外部知识转移能力和问题复杂性分别对①和②中的关系具有情境影响作用。
This article examines the impact of corporate networks and absorptive capacity on their choice of innovation strategy. Based on social network theory and enterprise competence theory, this paper believes that the external network embedded by the enterprise provides enterprises with opportunities for innovation, but these opportunities cannot be realized; absorptive capacity can realize innovation opportunities, but it is difficult to create innovation opportunities. Therefore, the choice of corporate innovation strategy needs to combine the two. In the existing literature, the absorptive capacity is divided into “external knowledge utilization capability ” and “external knowledge transfer capability”. Based on this study, we find that: 1) The network location and external knowledge utilization ability respectively influence the choice of its innovation strategy; 2 The interaction between network location and external knowledge utilization capability also influences the choice of innovation strategy; 3 External knowledge transfer capability and problem complexity have situational impact on the relationship between 1 and 2 respectively.
