箱形桥涵是新建铁路下穿既有线路的一种常见的工程结构,在西部地区黄土地质情况较多,箱身基底承载力往往不足,通常可以采用灰土挤密桩处理箱底黄土地基,处理效果必须进行承载力试验验证。本文结合兰渝铁路施工情况,介绍了黄土与圆砾土交替分布的典型西部地质条件下,铁路箱形桥灰土挤密桩单桩复合地基承载力的检测试验方法,给出了检测中需要注意的要点,讨论了灰土挤密桩沉降量随荷载大小的变化关系、同级荷载作用下沉降量随时间的变化关系,对进行类似地质条件下灰土挤密桩的设计和施工提出了较为合理的建议。
