Pictorial is a unit of knowledge stored in the human brain that determines the reading efficiency of a person. The KWL reading strategy based on pictorial theory can effectively activate the illustration of the reading material in the brain, thereby arousing students’ interest, enhancing their reading confidence and improving their reading ability.
