无精子症增加男性癌症危险

坦福大学一项新研究发现,无精子不育(又称“无精子症”)男性罹患癌症危险比普通男性更大。新研究中,斯坦福大学研究人员对2000多名患有不育症的男性进行了研究。结果发现,无精子症男性患者6年中罹患癌症的危险大大增加。在451例无精子症患者中,有10例确诊患有癌症,其中2例睾丸癌,其它包括脑癌、前列腺癌、淋巴癌和黑色素瘤。在1800名其它不育症男性患者中,发现了19例癌症。研究刚开始时,参试者平均年龄36岁,当时很年轻,因而很少有人患有癌症。在无精子症男性患者中,癌症发病率仅为2%。但这个比率依然是同龄男性的3倍。新研究负责人,泌尿学副教授迈克尔·艾森柏格博士表示,无精子症男性罹患癌症的危险与比他们 A new study by Stanford University found that men without azoospermia (aka “azoospermia”) are at greater risk of cancer than their average male counterparts. In the new study, Stanford researchers researched more than 2,000 men who had infertility. The results showed that male patients with azoospermia 6 years the risk of cancer greatly increased. Of the 451 azoospermic patients, 10 were diagnosed with cancer, 2 of which were testicular cancers and others included brain, prostate, lymphoma and melanoma. Of 1,800 other infertile men, 19 cancers were found. At the beginning of the study, the average age of the participants was 36 years old and very young at that time, so few people had cancer. In men with azoospermia, the incidence of cancer is only 2%. But this ratio is still three times the same age men.
