进入20世纪90年代后,中国的网络世界迅速扩展它辽阔无边的疆域,上网的势头像火焰般燃烧蔓延,按中国互联网信息中心统计公布的数字,据有关专家预测,今年我国上网用户将达400万至500万;到2010年,将达2.8亿。他们是整个中国信息产业大军的方阵,他们的前途,系于中国信息化的前途。如今,我们已跨过千禧年的门槛,透过领先一步上网的数百万网民,回顾 Internet 在中国走过的历程,心情既激动又复杂。本文中所描述的部分网虫,只是中国网络人的一个缩影,或者说是从网海中采撷的几簇浪花。
Since the 1990s, China’s cyber-world has rapidly expanded its immense territory. The momentum of its access to the internet has spread like a flame. According to statistics released by China’s Internet Information Center, experts predict that the number of Internet users in China will reach 400 this year Million to 500 million; by 2010, will reach 280 million. They are the phalanx of the entire Chinese information industry and their future lies in the future of informatization in China.
