Japan’s nuclear accident was transferred to the highest level comparable to Chernobyl? On April 12, Japan officially announced that it had officially raised the accident level at Fukushima nuclear power plant to level 7 at the same level as the Chernobyl nuclear crisis of the year. The Japan Institute of Atomic Energy Security issued an overall assessment of the amount of radioactive material released, much higher than the International Nuclear Accident Rating Scale 7 standard. At present Fukushima nuclear power plant emits only about 10% of Chernobyl emissions, and there is no direct health damage. However, Tokyo Electric Power Company admitted that the leak has not stopped, the total release may surpass the Chernobyl nuclear accident.
