Objective To explore the impact of life events on sleep injury in coal mines. Methods The life events scale (LES) and sleep status self-rating scale (SRSS) were used to measure the injuries of 128 coal mines in Chongqing. Results 1 LES scored higher in coal miners, with a total score of 20 points or more, 24.2% or more, and a total score of 32 or more, accounting for 14.1% or 2. 45.4% of the patients had mild sleep disorders, and the differences in sleep status among different age groups were significant ; 3 The SRSS total score of coal mine injury was positively correlated with the total score of life events, negative life events and work events (P <0.05). Conclusion Coal mine workers suffer greater mental stress, worse sleep condition, and higher life event score, which results in more serious sleep problems.
