The ideal is the spark of life. Building grand ambitions from childhood can only make a difference for the motherland and the people in the future. But in the previous paragraph, when students in my class talked about their own future, some only wanted to get a “red book” (national food), some wanted to build a “comfort nest”, and some even thought of a beautiful wife and a comfortable house. ... In order to change this situation, I have always used ideal education as an important part of the spiritual civilization of young people in recent years. I often guide students to learn the moving stories of the revolutionary ancestors who had aspirations during their teenage years. For example, studying Chairman Mao’s “taking the world as his own task” and Premier Zhou Zedong “reading for the rise of China”; learning from Li Siguang’s determination to revive China’s science, Chen Jingrun’s indignation.
