All-solid-state components of the L-band air defense radar has been successfully developed. The introduction briefly introduces the initial operation of a solid-state transmitter in series with a 50-watt amplifier. Next, the solid-state radar will be described in terms of the composition of the L-band exciter, distributed row electronics, line transmitters for high-power amplifiers, automatic correction of control errors, and automatic fault location. Focus on the characteristics of the line transmitter, including the synthesis circuit, level control and maintainability. In order to illustrate transistor selection, substrate circuit diagrams, thermally conductive cooling, and large area hermetic seals, particular emphasis is given to illustrating the internal condition of the replaceable power components in the line transmitter.
