V. RESULTS 5-10 Laboratory tests So far, two sets of laboratory tests have been conducted using a holographic stress tester. The first set of tests consisted of double-exposure interferograms of metal plates or rods. During the test, these plates or rods were moved by a known amount of displacement in two holographic exposure intervals. The purpose of the experiment is twofold: to ensure that the measurement geometrical position of the holographic camera system is correct; at the same time, it is proved that the interference fringe pattern formed by the known displacement can be accurately simulated. In each calibration interferogram, the test object rotates about an axis parallel to the X defined in Figure 8.
