In recent years, primary and secondary schools throughout the country have been actively implementing the spirit of the “Outline for China’s Education Reform and Development” and have worked hard to create conditions that gradually shift from exam-oriented education to quality education. There are basically five factors in the quality composition: moral character, cultural quality, physical quality, psychological quality and labor quality. It can be seen that although quality education is a simple word, it is a vast project to implement. How to educate students on ideological quality in geography teaching, following the author’s experience and practice, talk about a few superficial experiences. First, politically oriented education. According to the teaching materials, the combination of domestic and international situations for students to conduct politically oriented education is an important part of ideological and political quality education. The quality of human beings is formed in the three environments of family, school and society. Among them, school education is the most important.
