美国大学历来有请名人在毕业典礼上为毕业生演讲的习惯,2013年5月4日,密歇根大学请来了推特CEO迪克.科斯特洛(Dick Costolo)。演讲开始前,迪克请求大家给他几分钟时间,“我想发条推特记录下这一切”。他拿出手机,朝观众拍了张照片,边打字边说:“我可是这方面的专家。”此举引发现场阵阵笑声。他在一本正经地感谢了校方邀请和父母付出后,突然又来了一句:“我保证,三点半前结束演讲。”这一“贴心”之言,再次收到大片笑声。开场不到1分钟,观众已数次捧腹。
American universities have always had the celebrity habit of giving speeches to graduates at the graduation ceremony. On May 4, 2013, the University of Michigan invited Dick Costolo, a Twitter CEO. Before the speech, Dick asked everyone to give him a few minutes, “I want to clock it all down.” He took out his cellphone and took a picture toward the audience, typing: “I’m an expert in this area.” The move sparked laughter on the spot. After a very serious thanks to the school for his invitation and parents to pay, he suddenly came again: “I promise, ended before half past three. ” This “sweetheart ” words, once again received a large laughter. Less than a minute after the opening, the audience has repeatedly laughed.
