螯合树脂是带有螯合基团、对特定离子具有特殊选择性、有螯合分离能力的一类树脂。其选择性主要取决于功能基的性能。螯合树脂的应用范围及效果属一类分离提纯专用树脂。它既有生成离子键又有形成配价键的能力。在形成螯合物后,结构上好象螃蟹的螯钳,所以形象地叫螯合树脂(Chelate resin)。由人工设计并合成的多种多样的螯合树脂,多数是在邻近的位置带两种以上、起协合作用的功能基;对于带两种性质相反、起独立功能作用的树脂
