本研究探讨隐喻认知理论在商务英语阅读教学中应用的可行性和有效性。研究结果表明:将培养学生隐喻能力作为教学内容的阅读教学活动,既能让学生了解相关的隐喻理论的基本知识,又能培养学生使用隐喻的意识并在一定程度上提高学生的隐喻理解力和表达力。因此,只要教师有良好的隐喻认知理论基础和较强的执教能力,就可以帮助商务英语学习者在一定程度上提高隐喻能力,进而提高他们的商务英语阅读能力。
This study explores the feasibility and effectiveness of metaphorical cognitive theory in the teaching of Business English reading. The result shows that taking the ability of cultivating students ’metaphor as reading teaching activity can not only enable students to understand the basic knowledge of related metaphor theories, but also cultivate the students’ awareness of using metaphors and improve their understanding of metaphors to a certain extent Expressive force. Therefore, as long as teachers have a good foundation of metaphorical cognitive theory and strong coaching skills, they can help business English learners improve their metaphorical ability to a certain extent, thereby improving their business English reading ability.
