The present invention can be used as an exhaust valve of an internal combustion engine to reduce noise. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional internal combustion engine exhaust valve which comprises a cone-shaped disc cone 1, a cylindrical disc outer circle 12, an edge of the disc end surface, and a transitional surface 14 of the cone disc 1 and the valve stem 11. The valve in FIG. 1 is in the open state, and the annular gap formed by the valve 3 and the two conical surfaces 1 and 2 of the valve seat 4 causes gas to flow from the combustion chamber 10 to the chimney 9. In the direction of gas flow, the cross-section of the gap becomes narrower, and the annular gap becomes smaller. This is illustrated by the cross-sectional shape of the nozzle in Fig. 2, i.e., the cross-section of the nozzle consisting of conical surfaces 1 and 2, designated E on the combustion chamber side and A on the flue side.
