I. INTRODUCTION As a branch of earthquake engineering, sliding vibration absorption has already begun to attract people’s attention. There are more and more projects that hope to adopt sliding vibration damping measures in China. In order to avoid the blindness of project implementation, basic theoretical research on sliding shock absorption must be stepped up. At present, there are quite a few countries that still remain in the field of “rigid body assumptions” in the discussion of the mechanism of slippage damping, which is obviously very shallow. At the 7th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering in 1980, Prof. Aljay of the Rocky University in India first announced their view from the perspective of “elastomers”.
