Serious late liver disease eventually appear hepatic coma, the mortality rate is very high. Acute fulminant hepatitis into hepatic coma, the survival rate of only 10 to 20%. Currently used in a variety of treatment measures, the results are not satisfied. Therefore, all over the world are looking for a new treatment - artificial liver, so that patients through the dangerous period for the liver have a chance of regeneration, so as to be rehabilitated. In the terminal phase of chronic liver disease, once a hepatic coma occurs, the prognosis is poor and depends on the artificial liver to control the condition and prepare for liver transplantation. But the ideal artificial liver must have the following conditions: ① to maintain the normal metabolism of protein, fat and sugar; ② clear lead to hepatic coma harmful substances; ③ correct water and electrolyte balance disorders and ④ lift the liver regeneration block factor. In recent years, foreign countries have conducted active research, designed and used this aspect
