In recent years, rigid roof waterproofing has been widely used in southern China, and a relatively mature supporting technology has been formed. In the north, due to the large temperature difference and the long negative temperature for a whole year, rigid waterproofing is rarely used on roofs. Many people believe that rigid roofing waterproofing is not applicable. The Waterproofing Department of the Northeastern Institute of Technology’s Mining Department, engaged in the research and application of DG-ferric chloride integrated waterproof technology, has been a fifteen-year history. They succeeded in the application of ferric chloride waterproof technology in the basement, air defense, mines, tunnels, and water. After the inferior project, the application of ferric chloride waterproofing technology to the roof was studied from the year of 82, after a more systematic theory.
