在演示苯的燃烧实验时,许多教师在敞口容器(如蒸发皿、坩埚里)点燃苯。其做法并不科学,因为在这些容器里,苯发生大面积燃烧,生成大量的黑烟悬浮于空气中;同时苯受热后挥发出大量苯蒸气。这些苯蒸气和炭黑造成环境污染,严重损害师生的身体健康。 为此,笔者用出水口损坏的冷凝管制做了一个苯的燃烧简易装置(附图)。 这种装置与在敞口容器里点燃苯相比较
During the demonstration of the benzene burning experiment, many teachers ignited benzene in open containers (such as evaporating dish and pan). The practice is not scientific, because in these containers, benzene is burned in large areas, generating a large amount of black smoke suspended in the air; at the same time, benzene emits a large amount of benzene vapor when heated. These benzene vapors and carbon black cause environmental pollution and seriously impair the health of teachers and students. For this reason, the author made a simple benzene combustion device (figure) using the condensation control of the outlet spoilage. This device is compared with igniting benzene in an open container
